Menu Settings

Setting the menu with WordPress is very simple, go to Appearance -> Menus

Create your menu and remember to check through menu settings “main menu”, in this way the system will use your menu as the default menu.

How to use custom classes

If you want to customize your menu you can use some custom classes that you will need to enter in the “CSS Classes” of your label.

If the field “CSS Classes” is not available you can enable it by clicking in the “Screen Options”.

Here all custom classes that you can use for the menu:

CLASS NAME INFORMATION
greydark The class must be inserted into the top-level label and decide the background color of the dropdown
blue The class must be inserted into the top-level label and decide the background color of the dropdown
green The class must be inserted into the top-level label and decide the background color of the dropdown
violet The class must be inserted into the top-level label and decide the background color of the dropdown
yellow The class must be inserted into the top-level label and decide the background color of the dropdown
orange The class must be inserted into the top-level label and decide the background color of the dropdown
red The class must be inserted into the top-level label and decide the background color of the dropdown

From 2.1 version too you can use other custom classes to display some “call to action” to your menu labels. To change the “call to action images” you can simply replace the images that you find in the folder img/menu (my advice is to keep the same size).

CLASS NAME INFORMATION
nicdark_hotlabel The class must be inserted in the labels that are present in the dropdown to see the “HOT” image
nicdark_newlabel The class must be inserted in the labels that are present in the dropdown to see the “NEW” image
nicdark_bestlabel The class must be inserted in the labels that are present in the dropdown to see the “BEST” image

For setting the mega menu follow the video tutorial.
